Actually, no, if chooses itself :_)!

The standard Sirius version (Smart Charger Pro) has an output for 3-5 cells,
and one for 7-9 cells.

The 7-9 cell side is suitable for your needs, no doubt.

The lower voltage side can be switched between 250, 500 & 1000 mah
cells, the higher has no settings, but works with anything from 600 mah
and up. A simpler charger with such advanced features does not exist!

Absolutely fool proof! I added a switch on the cable to be able charge
both those that have + in the middle, and those -. Otherwise there
is a polarity-switching adapter, but that costs extra!

The only problem is that it isn't the cheapest there is,
but modelers around the world swear by them (there are
copies around, too).

And you can of course use it for charging any R/C equipment you have,
and even AA cells, if you fix a battery holder :-)!
