Currently I only use a sea sock. I've just been paddling short day trips so far. I'm starting to feel like a sea sock isn't an acceptable total substitute for floatation bags (of any type) because I've noticed a few times in practicing self-rescues I've managed to partially tear the sea sock off the coaming of my fujita 480ex. Thoughts? > "John MacKechnie" <bigmac1_at_enter.net> wrote: > > > My guess is that the dry bags will not be as efficient as > dedicated float > > bags. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
