I couldn't find any discount sales anywhere (3 years ago).  Though, they
were available locally in roofrack shops (I belive there are 3 of them
in my
"village"), for the same price as on e-bay or slightly cheaper,
especially
considering USD/CDN excange rate and high shipping costs if I were to
buy
them with bars.  Eventually I've opted for a used "towers" (legs) in
Classifieds, complete with locks and keys, plus new brackets (specific
item
for each model), since it was impossible to get used towers with the
brackets exactly for my model, plus a pair of bars from roofrack shop.
The
total cost was, I believe, 1/4 of MSRP.
