Paddlewisers, I just got back from a seven-day crossing and circumnav trip at Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California. Halfway on the crossing over to the island, I took a photo of a blue whale, which can be seen at the link below. These whales are the largest animals ever on earth, with adults averaging 80 feet in length and a heart the size of a small car.
