-I have only done this on linear polyethelene (roto molded boats) -Boiling water and a bath towel... -Place bath towel over and extending beyond the size of dent folded into several layers on INSIDE of kayak. -Pour boiling water onto towel so the combination of continuous heat and the weight of towel and water will likely push the dent out to its original shape or mold memory. If it doesn't pop out, gently push it out with hand (as temperature allows) or some other large shaped object. (2X4 block of wood) -Let cool and remove towel and excess water -Voila Obviously the dent and towel etc should be on the bottom side for this to work properly...
