Hi All, I'm not going to defend the Seaward rudder system, except to say that it available in parts, tracks and pedals, rudder, and a control package of lines, each part available separately and easy to retrofit. However, I will correct a serious misconception. The flat spot on the foredeck is for mounting a compass. It was never designed as a sail mount. Chris Thetis Island.
