Its late and I am awake so here goes....Played kayak football on the canal Wed. Two young, strong WW guys showed up with an Eskimo Kayak double. These guys can motor in this thing. Kayak football is about speed and a bit of finesse but mostly about speed. After a few too many touchdowns by the doubles side I decided a suicide attack is necessary. Willing to take a hit for the home team I paddled up from the rear quarter, popped the spray skirt, stood up and screamed, "Boarding party!!!". I tackled the rear occupant of the double and sent all three of us over the high side. Success! This event forced the entire game into a melee of dump or be dumped as everybody tried as best they could to avoid going for a swim. Almost everyone swam but the heat index that day was 110 and few complaints were heard.
