There are special prescription eyewear for many water sports and some are
suitable for kayaking.

Someone posted a note about Aquagoggles.com for prescription swim goggles. I've
used these for several months now and the strap on mine broke on Friday at the
end of a swim. I went home, looked on the web for a place to buy a replacement
strap and visited the Aquagoggles site. I found that their straps were a
fraction the price of retail store replacements ($2 vs $6) and that they are
selling off their old stock of goggles at 2/3 regular price. They've switched
to a new style so the old ones are going. I decided to order a pair with two
replacement straps. They were delivered to my door a few minutes ago.
Selection of colours and strengths is limited, but at US$14 a pair (+shipping)
that's a decent deal. The new model is US$22 a pair. Anyway, as a customer, I
have no complaints - they ship quickly and the product is decent.

Unless you have single vision and your prescription is exactly a half diopter
value, you couldn't wear these for general kayaking. If you have mild
astigmatism snd/or fractional diopter, then the correction will be less than
ideal. Serious astigmatism can't be accommodated. They're fine for a pool or
for rolling and rescue practice, since correction isn't critical in those
circumstances.

Other companies sell full prescription swim goggles which exactly match your
needs, but they tend to be very expensive.
