I test paddled one a while ago and was disappointed. Most of the increased volume seems to be in the cockpit and I got the impression that I was paddling a bloated kayak (snake after eating a large meal is an apt analogy). I had mixed feelings about the handling. Caveat: my prior expectations were for a "wow" experience, due to the kayak's association with the Anas Acuta. However, others I know that test paddled this one had similar impressions. The conditions were calm with little wind, so I have no idea how it feels in interesting conditions. > Should I buy this kayak No one can answer that but you. I would recommend a test paddle and if you like the way it performs, rent it for a few days to try in realistic conditions. I've paddled kayaks I love that others hate and paddled what I thought was a lemon only to find a large number of enthusiasts who worship the same design. There is no objective way to evaluate kayaks that translates into a buy/don't buy recommendation.
