G'Day,

With reference to reviews by Ralph Diaz (
http://www.fujitacanoe.com/en/kiji2.htm )and Sea Kayaker
http://www.fujitacanoe.com/en/kiji1.htm.

Does anyone know if Fujita are still stitching their deck to hull seams, or
if they are now electronically welding them. I know they have been welding
their hulls for some time.

Can anyone advise whether it is possible to effectively seal stitched seams
on a folding kayak and if so what method they would use? Presumably one
would need to apply the sealant on the inside of the hull seam.

Is it worth bothering with a boat that has stitched rather than welded
seams?

Thanks for any information?

All the best, PeterO
