It was not just the fact that everything was poly. There was not a single touring kayak, poly, ABS, fiberglass, or kevlar, at the symposium. Everything was a SOT. It was kind of like going to a motorcycle show and seeing nothing but trikes. Nothing wrong with them, but definitely not the only thing you expect to see. Both of the Wilderness Systems dealers at the show indicated that they had no interest in carrying any of Wilderness Systems sit-inside models much less carrying one of their "touring" models.
