subject: [Paddlewise] Advice for Paddling in Vietnam?

I'm planning a trip to Vietnam for next year. I was thinking of spending two
weeks in Vietnam, around 10 of them in Halong Bay. I'd like to have a
semi-ambitious trip with me and 3 others with decent boats.

Does anybody have any recommendations for tour companies? Any good or bad
experiences?

I used Google to find some places, and I'm sending e-mails directly to them
on prices etc... The majority of the tours seem to be directed at more
casual paddlers. I'll probably bring my folding kayaks.

And maybe I'm cheap, but I'd prefer not to have to spend $3000 per person on
a tour. I'd rather attempt to use local companies, if available.
