I have just finished my build of the AT 14 kit. I haven't really put it
through it's paces yet but it is a really lively paddle! It is by no means a
speedy boat but I can hold a course reasonably well and keeping up with other
paddlers is no problem. It is also one of the lightest boats I have ever
hefted. I would highly recommend this boat! The build is another matter
altogether. It took me 5 months to put the kit together so it is a time
commitment. I would get a copy of Ted Moores book, Kayaks you can build. It
will let you know what to expect and also give you a lot of tips and
shortcuts. If you want to talk turkey you can reach me back channel.
