Just to point out: This book has a lot of useful weather information that
applies to all regions, not just the Great Lakes. It is also well written and
understandable compared to some other weather info sources. At least one
Paddlewiser is quoted in the book.

I first found out about this one from a young Coast Guard officer from Britt
(http://kayakwiki.org/index.php/Byng_Inlet) who had come to a local kayak
symposium in one of those super-duper unsinkable auto-righting mega zodiac CG
boats. He also mentioned that his dad was the one who was responsible for the
production of this book.
