I'm up here in central Maine (Bangor area)...very similar to the middle of nowhere. I know there is a lot of SOF activity in the CT and NY areas but there is not much going on up here (yet!). Thanks for the line on George Dyson for kayak skins; another helpful forum member gave me the correct phone number and I was able to place an order for the 8oz nylon yesterday (the price is now $2.50/ft) so I am a happy paddler. Thanks to all the forum members for their assistance. That's the great thing about the web - somebody, somewhere has the answer. Mark BTW - What did you use to seal the nylon on your SOF boat or boats? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
