I have successfully used this technique for an injured seagul. It was mooching around a waterfront cafe. I baited it to my feet with french fries, then scooped it up with an old towel. Thats all I had handy at the time, but it worked. I was amazed how easy this was. I never did see the Cormorant I posted about in the previous message again, even though I paddle in the same area frequently. I suspect that it may have become fox food.
