I would highly recommend Body, Boat & Blade on Orca Island. They have singles, including British boats - Valley and NDK. And Leon Somme & Shawna Frnaklin have been in NY at Atlantic Kayakk Tours and also in Florida for Sweetwater, and I don't know what else. But they are marvelous instructors, as well as delightful human beings. Oneof these days I'm going to get to the San Juans and paddle with them on their own territory.
