There are similar tales of paddlers in busy channels here in CT, too. And they're used as ammo by certain legislators to try to force us to register our boats. The difference here is that commercial captains are lobbying for registration for that reason, too. Darwin may sort a few out, but the rest of us will pay for it in the end.
