I have the same feeling. It first seemed odd that loading Blue Chart has wiped out just nav-lights, but this is probably how it works - wiping out additional database, but not the basemap itself. Garmin has POI restoring program, it didn't bring nav-lights back. Then it has POI Loader program - this one didn't want to see my device. As the Trip and Waypoints Manager sees my GPS fine, I suspect it's time to update my 98 Windows :-) ... Garmin says so too - that these programs require Win 2000.... To toggle between the Basemap and the Blue Chart: First display the map on the screen than press MENU, select SETUP MAP select MAP now you have two options Basemap and MapSource on/off. You have to turn MapSource off to display the Basemape again, It was never over written. To turn BlueChart back on all you have to do is turn on MapSource. Basemap can remain on but it will not display. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
