Most of the data collected and reported of hypothermia seems to base on
the nazi experiments in the concentration camps.

I know that in Germany some institute of Marine Research redid some
calculations due to the drowning of a German sea kayaker on the North Sea
(or rather between the the mainland and the outer islans maybe 7-10 years
ago - the calculations were done for the court to decide whether the
captaqin of a passenger vehicle should have stopped to help, as the
passengers reported to the captain they had seen or heard something).

I saw the results reported in the ISKA (Internewtional Sea KAyakign
Associaton Newsletter, but lost them. It had some interesting data about
the time one could survive in more normal clothing.

Does anyone know where to get this data?

Anyways, judgment is crucial - to paddle or not to paddle.
