I was referring to Peter Bray's kayak being a specially designed vessel, 
of a different order to the modified sea kayak Andrew McAuley paddled. I 
am aware of Dr Hannes Lindemann's (1956), and Captain Franz Romer's 
(1928) Atlantic crossings.
