I used to get kidded about dragging my seakayak into the woods at
night and tying off to a sturdy tree, while everyone else left theirs
just above the high tide line overnight, sometimes tied to each other.
Interestingly, the most ribbing always came from the dumbest people.
So, if you want to sort your friends out, just drag your boat into
the woods a few times. Works like a charm. Oddly enough, I still paddle
my original kayak.
