[Paddlewise] Making a bulkhead?

I am thinking of adding a bulkhead to one of my favorite old kayaks (Dawn
Treader). Mostly for rescue practice, safety, all the usual reasons.

Anyone have an easy way to make a pattern? I am t inking fo using foam and
then of course some kind of glue. It's a fiberglass kayak. As you can
tell, I'm not very into outfitting as a science or practical application!
