Sorry - forgot to remove the original message heading, so it didn't make it to the list. My Hubba-Hubba (2005 Tent of the year, but I've bought a 2006 model where they added a second door) is technically a 2-person, and this makes it a good solo tent. Mutha Hubba looks to me like a larger version of smalller (and much cheaper) Hubba Hubba. So it makes sense if you need a tent for 2 people (because it's technically a 3-person tent). Impressions?... 2 doors is good. Vents are desirable (HH doesn't have any, but Mutha appears to have - at least it looks like vent on the photo). All-Mesh design is good in a hot weather, but this material isn't, of course, as sturdy as non-mesh panels of other MSR tents, so you have to be careful with it. If you don't need it for very hot weather, or for an ultralight hiking, get something with less mesh. > REI has the MSR Mutha Hubba tent on sale this weekend for $120 off. It was > Backpacker's 2006 tent of the year. Has anyone used this tent for kayak > camping? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
