Robert (Woody) Woodward's and Freya Hoffmeisters's sites are two I like. I see Gordin Warner has started a new blog (he sent us a linking last week). I'll see if he makes an entry for his paddle yesterday, May 8th. The wind REALLY kicked up (fast low, sudden high pressure infill), sending three paddlers to the hospital for hypothermia after a multiple capsize off the Victoria waterfront in five foot waves (single and a double kayak). I was sitting at my desk, wishing I could be out on the water yesterday in the afternoon. I got thinking about kayaks, so phoned Gordinn. He was just leaving the takeout after getting pinned down at the lighthouse in extreme gusts. Was I ever jealous.
