Hi All- The Hudson RIver Greenland Festival 2007 is open for registration! Follow this link: http://www.yprc.org/GreenlandFestival.asp and read all about what we are going to offer this year. The Hudson RIver Greenland Festival had been run 3 times previously, with a emphasis on demonstrations and competition. This year we are shifting the focus to instruction and fun. Turner Wilson and Cheri Perry are going to run the on-water instruction, with a great group of mentors. We plan to introduce new skills, refine existing ones and let everyone push the envelop to learn more. We will also have a team relay race that should be memorable. Croton Point Park is a wonderful site on a peninsula in the Hudson River. We have a nice set of sheltered beaches, campgrounds and a main cabin. If you want to share in this experience, go to the website, download the application and send it in! You can attend one day, Saturday or Sunday, or stay for both. we have camping available in the park (see website for details). Plan to have a fun weekend on the water!
