Brian,

I'm not familiar with any guides in the Stockholm area, but I can recommend
either Swima Sport, http://www.svima.se/index.php?page=uthyrning , or Pampas
Kajak , http://www.pampaskajak.se/Default.asp?page=butiken , as rental
sources.

They each carry a broad selection of boats and are very helpful and easy to
work with. Their websites are only in Swedish but you can speak directly
with them in English so language isn't a problem. If you would like any
additional info about kayaking in the area, contact me directly.

Kayaking in the Swedish archipelago of 25,000 islands which includes those
of Stockholm is a unique and enjoyable experience. You can paddle in
either an urban or semi-wilderness setting depending upon your timeframe and
chosen route.

/Elden

Subject: [Paddlewise] kayak hires / guides in Sweden

I'm going to have a few free days in the area around Umea and
Stockholm, Sweden. Are there any guides and / or good places to rent
a kayak for the day?

Thanks, Brian
