Please find pictures of my new kayak that I think meets all my requirements.
Long narrow with hard chines amidship but growing round bottom from the
edges, for lower drag.  Ample space for legs and feet but  low profile
elsewhere.
 
Hope you like it. Preliminary tests show it a real pleasure in the sea.  It
has skeg, based on the last discussions about the need for a slight
weathercocking for safety in storms, but seems pretty neutral so far. Still
have to take it to a heavy wind and waves condition.

Good looking boat!. May you have some great times with her. I'd wish for you
to see light winds and calm seas, but that would be some boring paddling, so
may she always be upright except for when you want to roll.

Interesting looking design. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it looks
like it has some rocker to it despite its length. Very elegant lines.
