Anybody carrying 18 footers on a Yaris two-door hatch? I'm using extended Yakimas (backseat windows don't open) on my Civic hatch and have no complaints. Vexingly, they are not selling four-door hatches in the U.S. Is it painful to buy in Canada and drive it south? *PW does not like the body of my e-mails... _________________________________________________________________ PC Magazines 2007 editors choice for best Web mailaward-winning Windows Live Hotmail. http://imagine-windowslive.com/hotmail/?locale=en-us&ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migration_HM_mini_pcmag_0507 *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). Have you looked at the honda Fit? We're not carrying long boats on it yet, but it's a 5 door hatch. And my 8 foot something surf boat fits inside, with room for my wife and I. Love that little car. ____________________________________ Geoff Jennings (530) 852-4754 - geoff_at_texaskilonewton.com http://www.kimandgeoff.com/ "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Teddy Roosevelt *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
