On June 9, we organized the second Father's Day Race, this time in
Veracruz, with 18 km distance. It started by the sea mouth and went up
river to our house at the end of the Large Mandinga Lagoon.

It was the biggest sea kayak gathering with competitors from different
states. About 38 competitors. 35 finished. 3 had to be towed.
The best timing was 1 hour and 51 minutes. No surfskis or olympic kayaks
were in. There were some 2 or 3 like surfskis though.
