We've had quite a few postings here on the dangers of early-season paddling and/or warm weather/cold water kayak tragedies. I started to wonder if it might not be a reasonable idea to have some of us show up at paddling seminars and be in a place where some mature (ahem!) advice would be available to newbies in a non-marketing way. The upside (or maybe downside... I'm not sure) would be that we could also get to know each other better. I have no idea what a booth costs or how we would finance it. Anyone else have any input?
