I used a PVC upright at first, but it seemed a little wobbly so I went with
copper for stiffness. Develops a lovely patina as well!

Gives new meaning to the term "lash-up." The finished product is always
impressive, regardless of the hardware. Is there a reason the upright is
copper instead of PVC? Something to do with corrosion, perhaps?
