It may be all it says it is, but the only carrier in the pull down menu is Verizon. If you have never dealt with them, don't. I have a razor phone, but they have crippled all the neat features. like bluetooth connect to my computer to dl pictures or ul ringtones etc. Everything you do needs to go through them to be charged air time. You can get the pictures off the phone by emailing them to yourself or a web based picture hosting site ie: flickr. The only way to get ring tones is to buy them from verizon. just my 2 cents, I can't wait for my verizon contract to expire. [Please remove all old content that is not pertinent to your reply including old headers and footers. It's list policy.... this post was modified to meet policy] Although what you say is true, the phone is available for CDMA or GSM networks. When your phone contract expires, you should be able to get it unlocked. You'll then be able to use it with a competitor's network. In Canada, all 4 major carriers are either GSM or CDMA. There are a lot of people that carry a cell phone in their kayak as a backup communication method. Keeping a phone dry during use, while in capsize conditions, could be challenging. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
