I figured it was pretty easy and just about everyone got it right, but you had to realize my camera was on my helmet. My head must have been coming up too early, or the picture would have an angle closer to that of the kayak. As it is it's almost perfectly level. I'm sure that speaks to my attention to good photography rather my inability to roll right! Of course, the picture doesn't rule out someone yankin' on my bowline! Mark -----Original Message----- Subject: [Paddlewise] Analyzing a Failed Roll I thought it was kind of fun trying to analyze my last failed roll strictly from this still snippet of the video. Figured it's quiet enough out there that some of you are bored enough to try it too!!! It may seem obvious, but I'd like to hear how people come to their answer. Maybe back channel so we don't give it away too soon. http://www.sandmarks.net/graphics/BadRoll.jpg Mark Sanders www.sandmarks.net *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
