Kayakers, This last weekend some friends and I had a wonderful 3-day trip at San Miguel Island, the westernmost island in the Channel Islands National Park in Southern California. The photo journal is at the link below. On day-two we had rare calm weather, and a group of us easily did the 22 nautical mile circumnav in 6 hours. It was my 3rd circumnav of the island. Only about 100 people camp at the island each year, and besides our group, only 4 other campers were there.
