Derek feigns surprise, digs in about what boats, more surprise tossed in for good measure. All of that was done by letter to the editor in Sea Kayaker magazine a few years ago. He knows perfectly well, but chooses to believe otherwise. And then there was that bit about the asymetrical paddles and feathering.
