Let me recommend laser eye surgery. I did not have lasix but about 6 years
ago I developed cataracts in both eyes and had the lenses replaced with
implants. This is a more invasive treatment than the typical $1,000-per-eye
laser treatment and it meant one eye at a time. But 60 days later I had
20/20 vision and have had it ever since. The differences in my life are
spectacular (no pun intended).

I buy $49 sunglasses at Big5 for driving and $15 sunglasses at Wal-Mart for
kayaking. I have a pair of RayBan (non polarized) for soaring. My reading
glasses are the $20 titanium frames that I replace every six months. When I
get up in the morning I open the blinds first thing and check the weather
instead of finding my glasses first thing. I can scuba dive, kayak, and ski
without fear (or fog).

In short, if you have an eye condition that is amenable to the laser eye
correction then let me encourage you to investigate it. It truly changes
your life. And not many things do that.
