Without fanfare, or even knock on the door, I discovered in my garage today a 220cm wooden crate redolent with the lingering fragrance of Big Island plumeria. Judicious use of power tools liberated my new beefed up 215cm ONNO paddle from inside. Patrick had warned me to have my demolition tools handy. Also in my garage are two pieces of Sitka Spruce waiting to be laminated and freed from anything superfluous to a Greenland Paddle. I am torn over which I might use the most when both are at my beck and call and I can tell their are others out there who vacillate between the two worlds.
