It already needs a modification.  The Euro blade should be replaced with 
one with a symetrical blade. 

Those that have used a GP, especially a storm paddle, are familiar with 
a sliding stroke.  Those that have used Euro paddles are familiar with 
the maneuver that must be executed when you pick up your paddle and find 
that it is "upside down".  Those that use wing paddles have learned to 
adapt their stroke as well. 

This new paddle is no different.  To use it effectively one must learn 
the propeller stroke.  After taking a stroke on one side, one must 
rotate the blades such that the next stroke on the other side uses the 
same blade type.  This paddle also works well for tandem kayakers when 
they're paddling 180 degrees out of sync.
