"I wonder who that could be?" It's the trucking co. with my new kayak! Great, but I'm supposed to pick it up at the depot and switch it out with my old kayak! I had no idea the new one was on the way and the old one still has an inch of sand in it and an electric bilge pump to be removed. The guy can't wait for that, so now I have two boats and a giant cardboard box to jam in my garage already packed with boxes and stuff to be reassigned after Christmas. Guess I'll just have to cram it all in. So now I have this brand new, beautiful, shiny kayak. What good is THAT to me? I can't go near a rock; no more surf landings; no video equipment bungeed to my deck--this is going to put a real crimp in my style! Gotta start paddling like an old lady! For some reason it does look like it will roll easier, though, could that be??? Maybe I can find a cheap, milk-jug boat and save this pretty one from the brunt of most of my on-the-water misbehavings. www.SandMarks.net *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
