I do not have first hand experience

It looks like they would not drain water out well or quickly. One
thing I like about my Crocs is the large number of drain holes
(INCLUDING one at the heel which many water shoes do not have and
therefore these other models (including some sandals) do not drain
when I am sitting in my kayak) Crocs also drain quickly so as to
minimize water brought into the boat when getting in. The picture of
these other shoes suggest that they would not.

Of course they would presumably be better in minimizing the small
gravel in the shoe problem that Crocs and sandals have.

I have not had traction problems with my Crocs until the tread wears
away. Then they are like ice skates on wet surfaces. Surprisingly
dangerous in this condition because when new this is not much of a
problem so you are not expecting it. They will slip on wet tiled
surfaces when new as most shoes will but I do not have a problem in
the wild (until they are old and treadless)

Since I do not like throwing them out I have had success putting Shoe
Goo on the bottom of old Crocs to restore a tread pattern. This works
for me.

If I buy a new Croc, I tend to favor the one with the aggressive
tread design to postpone the day that they turn into ice skates.
