Owner is from the UK, moved back; her girlfriend is selling the boat along with other household items. Owner was upset to have to sell it, loved the kayak. The boat was new 10 years ago, $3,500.00 and still in good shape, hatches deteriorating. Someone is looking at it tonight, if not sold, I'm next in line. Keeping my fingers crossed. It's a niche boat, so maybe I'll get lucky and fill my niche. I was going to make a chine boat one day with skeg strickly for extreme storm work, not touring; the Anas at that price, plus my hectic double work life and health and limited budget post-huse renovations, would be a perfect solution. Even my wife says I dserve another kayak. :-) With my Nordkapp up "on the hoist" I'd actually have another boat worthwhile paddling that wasn't below my standards too much.
