In fact, they don't have a back, - just a 3/4" wide strap behind the ankle (some models don't have this strap). Good thing for draninage, but terrible for ankle support and heel protection when you need to jump over some slippery and sharp rocks. I've seen different models, and they all looked alike - from $30 versions in fancy stores (must be real Crocs, though not necessarily) to $10 knock-offs in US Target and similar canadian superstores. I've seen different models, and they all > looked alike Crocs http://www.crocs.com is up to about 60 different models - including an "all terrain" model, ones that look like LL Bean boots, and even fake fur lined ones. I know this because my wife bought a few of the non-standard less ugly models last year.
