Like alot of small cameras the controls are small and the lcd screen style viewfinder is annoying. However, cry me a river, the Olympus Optio 770SW that I have takes acceptable pictures and rides in a cordura pouch on my PFD. It has gone through?very stiff?holes and pretty decent surf. It's battery consumption on a 15 day trip with no recharge was exactly 2 batteries for 385 frames, no movies and no editing. I had 3 so I should have shot more film, but oh well. Overall, I find it an excellent value. Cheers, Rob G Interesting that it describes some "Digital Image Stabilisation", and it the specs table it says "Image Stabilization: No". I wish they've made a display smaller and controls bigger, though. -----Original Message----- From: alex <al.m_at_3web.net> To: James Farrelly <JFarrelly5_at_comcast.net>; Spudspa_at_aol.com Cc: PaddleWise_at_paddlewise.net Sent: Mon, 18 Feb 2008 8:24 pm Subject: Re: [Paddlewise] New camera possibility -- any experience with this?
