Midwest Mountaineering (http://www.midwestmtn.com/) is the premier kayaking shop in Minneapolis, and they sell both wetsuits and drysuits. The Inland Sea Kayakers club (http://www.inlandseakayakers.org/index.html) has many members who own drysuits, and, in fact, they will be having their own cold water immersion paddle on April 19. While my wife and I both own and use drysuits, I doubt our schedule will permit us to attend, but you should be able to find some assistance at the above sources. However, even the smaller ponds around the Twin Cities still have ice on them, though it is looking rotten and could go any day. Currently, it is 34 degrees and snowing, with 6 to 8 inches of snow predicted by 6 a.m. tomorrow, though the temperature is expected to rebound into the 50s later in the week. Do you have more information about the April 4 cold water workshop?
