Hitching up my britches and tightening the belt just under my sternum I am reminded of a skateboard I used to have. It was a Logan Earth Ski made of solid red oak. The one before that had clay wheels until I found out how quickly clay wheels liked to stop but the rider didnt. Wait till my grandkids tell their grandkids that great granddad used wood covered epoxy boats. Freaky old oil agers! > Yes, I really am that old. Older, actually: my first surfboard, > at age 13, was made of balsa. Still got the scar where the skeg > whacked me upside the head. Now where is that Metamucil ... oh, > yeah, Depends. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
