[Paddlewise] Inflatable car rack ????

Has anybody used the Malone inflatable car rack system to carry kayaks? My
wife and I will be renting a car and boats this summer and I'm looking for a
way to transport the boats on a rental car without a rack. Or do you have
any other suggestions?
