We frequently have 2 MDs in the group, but as one of them is an OBGYN and the other a pathologist, they're really only useful in cases of vaginal bleeding or if you're already dead, neither one being very up to date on emergency medicine for injuries. I am privileged to have a WMA instructor as one of my paddling buddies. He is always welcome, and frequently useful.
