Several people on the West Coast Paddlers site swear by these hammocks. I'm going to have to get one I think. They are also very fond of a Swedish alcohol cookset by Trangia (which has a gas burner available). That many paddlers can't be completely wrong about something so I'm going to have to look hard at that too. Kruger is off with those guys now (in the cold - it was under 30 again this morning) and we'll see what he thinks when he gets back. > > > There's a couple shots of the hammock in this trip album... > > http://picasaweb.google.com/parkscarey/WhitehorseKeyCamping > > You mentioned "cloud streets" on your website and I was intrigued. The only people who regularly use the term (and the streets) are sailplane (glider) pilots. I didn't know anyone else used it. The amazing thing about cloud streets is that they are so common; when there are cumulus clouds, there will be cloud streets almost certainly. When you are soaring around here in the summer you can often just pick a direction and then fly the cloud streets porpoising along (flying fast but descending between clouds, then pulling back and slowing down to get lift when under them).
