As my wife have pretty good insight in what kayak things cost, but when I made a junk rig, plus a mizzen, for our XXL, there were no complaints, as the cost, gross, was somewhere around 500 US dollars (most costs for cam cleats and aluminium parts, like battens, masts, et cetera). I guess I should add the cost for the Klepper rig we had since earlier, but not liked very well, and the tiny Long Haul spinnaker, a total of about 1500 US dollars. A Pacific Action rig is cheaper, but smaller! Tord PS Been off this group for a while, but now back, yelling and kicking :-)! All about my junk rig will eventually be published on the web, and some is already published in the canoe sailing magazine dot com and at folding kayaks dot org! -- Want an e-mail address like mine?
